新型コロナウイルスの流行のため、マスクが一時的に世界中で熱く議論されるトピックになった。資源が不足しているので、多くの地域の人々が様々な材料を使って自分でマスクを作り始めた。これは私にマスクの定義について新たに考えさせるものであり、一体何を材料として、どの程度までがマスクと言えるのかを考えさせられる。

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks have temporarily become a hot topic worldwide. People in many places have started making their own masks using a variety of materials due to resource scarcity. This has led me to rethink the definition of masks, pondering what materials and to what extent are needed for something to be considered a mask.
